PROJECT
UPDATE - please note that the Everything Exmoor web
site is still under testing.
This site is, at present, being tested by a group
of people on Exmoor so please bear with us while we discover and
'iron out' the bugs. However, do feel free to submit
information, pictures and list your business or activity as it will
assist our testing.
If you spot problems or have ideas
to improve the Everything Exmoor site then
please contact us.
What needs to be completed in the short-term:
1. Content has been supplied by many people on Exmoor for all
the current pages on this web site. This material is being
added as quickly as possible. At present, there are blank pages where
I am still editing the text people have sent in. These updated pages
will be added to the site asap.
update 12-03-2006: Currently adding
your text and uploading the Community information pages.
By page title I have completed letter A through to part-way through letter
C -only C through to Z to add!!
The rest are coming on asap but it is a slow job.
2.I am working on the business web listings code at the
foot of each page. There are just dummy listings at present to indicate
what will appear. Time scale for completion of live business listings
code at the foot of each page is end of March 2006.

code complete and being added to each Community page as it is posted
with its content
3. The business listings at present are just random test-text.
Proper business listings which have been steadily accumulating are ready
to be added and set live in early April.
4. The design, colours and layout. All these elements are
getting feedback from users and this will be refined in the light of
users comments. 'The orange is too garish' say some, 'it stands out'
say others - what do you think?
5. The navigation needs refining and the verbosity reduced. |
